As a New York wedding planner, I personally lead each experience, supported by a trusted team behind the scenes to ensure every detail is handled with care and intention.

Who This Is For

Margo Events works best with couples who want a celebration that feels warm, personal, and thoughtfully designed for their guests.

Many of our couples are planning Hudson Valley weddings with 90–160 guests and care deeply about creating an experience where their family and friends feel welcomed, comfortable, and truly celebrated.

They’ve often chosen venues like barns, wineries, farms, and intimate estates where the day moves between indoor and outdoor spaces. They value good food, lively music, meaningful details, and a timeline that allows them to stay present with their guests.

If you’re looking for a planner who brings calm communication, steady leadership, and thoughtful structure to the planning process, you’re in the right place.

What I’m passionate about

A brand inspired by legacy, shaped by hospitality, and rooted in love.

Margo Events carries the name of the women who taught me what it means to make people feel loved. My great-grandmother, my mother, and I all share the name Margo in different forms, a generational thread that shaped my earliest experiences of belonging. I grew up listening to my great-grandmother whistle in the kitchen while meals came together and we kids played in the courtyard.

My mother carried that warmth forward, creating a home where every visit meant a beautifully set table, cloth napkins, and a sense of being deeply welcomed. Those moments taught me the art of hosting, the power of details, and the beauty of creating spaces where people feel seen and cared for.

Today, that legacy is at the heart of my work. I plan weddings with the same intention, hospitality, and tenderness I grew up with, ensuring that every couple feels held, supported, and able to be fully present on one of the most meaningful days of their lives.

Here are some
helpful resources

What’s the difference between Partial Planning, Wedding Management & Coordination, and Wedding Day Management?

Each service is designed to support you at a different stage of your planning journey.

Partial Planning is a collaborative experience with more involved, hands-on support as your wedding takes shape. Wedding Management & Coordination offers earlier guidance and structure in the final months, helping refine details and align everything seamlessly. Wedding Day Management is designed for couples who have planned their wedding and want a professional to step in during the final phase to manage logistics and execution.

Each option meets you where you are, while providing the clarity, calm direction, and thoughtful support needed to bring everything together beautifully.

Do you help with design and décor decisions?

Yes. All services include light design guidance to help refine your aesthetic, review décor choices, and ensure your wedding feels cohesive and intentional.

This may include layout suggestions, décor direction, and guidance on bringing warmth and meaning to your space. For couples looking for more in-depth or highly customized design support, I’m happy to connect you with trusted creative partners.

What is Wedding Management & Coordination, and is it right for us?

Wedding Management & Coordination is designed for couples who have created a clear vision but want more hands-on support leading up to their wedding. It offers earlier involvement, thoughtful organization, and guidance to ensure every detail is refined and aligned.

If you’re looking for a more supported planning experience without full-service planning, this is often the best fit.

How far in advance should we book?

Most couples reserve their date 8 to 14 months in advance, especially for peak seasons in NYC and the Hudson Valley. If your timeline is shorter, you’re still welcome to reach out. Wedding Management & Coordination and Wedding Day Management often offer more flexibility depending on availability.

No matter where you are in the process, I’m happy to connect and guide you toward the best next step.

Do you work outside of NYC and the Hudson Valley?

Yes. While I primarily serve NYC and the Hudson Valley, I’m available for travel throughout New York State and nearby regions.

If your venue is outside this area, simply inquire, and I’ll share availability, travel considerations, and whether your location is a good fit.
